Create a logo from existing design

I am renaming my business and need my existing logo redesigned. My son created the logo and I can supply you with an Al file to start with. I have specific ideas for features but would like someone who can add some creative input. Please see the attached files to see the old logo. The new name will be Melonbug. The bug logo should be redesigned to look a little more like a watermelon slice, but still be a bug. I'll need one design with the full name and one with only the bug. And I'll need a few formats.My son has been my graphic designer up until now, but he is busy with his own business and I need to stop asking him for work! So with this initial job, I hope to find someone that I can reach out to from time to time to create new graphics for my website, social media, emails, etc.
