"PePper" is an AI-powered mobile app aiming to reduce food waste and enhance home cooking. The MVP will focus on core features to demonstrate the app's potential, including unlimited receipt scanning to automatically log grocery purchases to a "Digital Pantry." Advanced AI will track item freshness and generate timely alerts and recipes using expiring ingredients. Users can plan dishes by selecting from suggested recipes or inputting their own, then add missing items to a shopping cart integrated with affiliate retailers. The design priorities seamless use, reliability, and clarity of saving users time and money. As a university project, sourcing UI/UX designs optimized for iOS would help establish Pepper's value and user engagement potential.
