Description

This project involves designing an implement to automatically apply rubber sealing strips with self-adhesive backing to metal door frames. The seals come coiled in 50m boxes and need to be fed continuously into the tool. The device must remove the protective liner from the adhesive as the seal is inserted and firmly press it into position on the interior of the frame as the tool is moved by hand along each edge. When the tool reaches a corner, it can be detached to allow manual placement of the seal at the junction before reattachment to continue installation along the next wall. The tool needs to feed the strip as close to inside corners as possible for a seamless seal. Once all three sides are lined with the seal, it can be cut by hand. The proposed solution should smoothly guide the adhesive strip, efficiently peel the liner, and reliably bond the seal while navigating corners with precision. Bidders are encouraged to submit sketches of ergonomic, durable designs that fulfill this demanding yet important framing task.

I am looking at setting up a new website for "Manufacturing Mastery". This is a new venture dedicated to helping manufacturing companies through education and consultancy. You can find out about myself on mkwebsite.com and standbacktogrow.com. The latter was something I started just over a year ago, but didn't really take off, so decided to approach a narrower target market, hence the requirement for a website. I have found a template that fits my concept best: https://www.templatemonster.com/website-templates/factor-industry-amp-factory-html5-website-template-146028.html#tab-intro I do not want to use the template but have it written from scratch based on this design. I have also started creating content for it in Canva: https://www.canva.com/design/DAGqHeUYb6U/5_z1FGV9cTYVWOZKytDFDA/view?utm_content=DAGqHeUYb6U&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=uniquelinks&utlId=h07d0d167e9 This does not mean I know exactly what each page should contain, so I would need some guiding and suggestions. On top of it, it will require connecting with Mailerlite for the freebie sign-up as well as integrations for newsletter sign up, contact form, maybe Calendly link, etc. The Training and Turnaround pages will probably have 5 or so sub-pages, so that I can go deeper into the topics described on the main page. The Blog needs to be editable and the Events page too, plus past events should disappear once they pass their date. I have the domain and it is hosted on Siteground. The end goal is to have a solid funnel and lead generation tool rather than just a website, so any suggestions are welcomed. Please let me know how much would it cost to create this website and your current availability. I look forward to hearing from you. Regards, Michael

Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced exterior designer, architectural visualiser, or design-focused architect to help us reimagine and improve the external appearance of our home following a recently approved extension. Although planning permission has been granted, we are not satisfied with the current external design, which feels like a basic “box” added onto the existing structure. We want to achieve a more cohesive and attractive overall appearance. Why We’re Looking for Help: Our current architect has taken us through the planning phase but has not provided the level of exterior design vision we need. We’re now looking for someone with strong design sensibility who can help us enhance the final look of the home before we proceed to construction. Scope of Work Required: We are looking for support in the following areas: Review of the existing approved plans and elevations Design recommendations to enhance the external appearance (materials, finishes, proportions, detailing, etc.) 2–3 visual concept options showing how the house could look (renders or 3D visuals preferred) Input on how to blend the extension with the existing home for a more cohesive and appealing design Suggestions on how to achieve a contemporary, attractive, and well-integrated exterior look Assets We Can Provide: Approved planning drawings (floorplans, elevations) Photos of the existing house Contextual information (neighbouring properties, style influences we like, etc.) Our Goals: A final design that feels intentional and visually appealing Better integration between the new extension and existing house Guidance on materials and finishes that will elevate the look Deliverables Expected: Visual concept options (images/renders/3D) Design notes or rationale for materials and layout choices Possibly updated drawings or reference visuals for a builder to follow Timeline: We would ideally like to start work on this as soon as possible, and would appreciate knowing your availability for an initial consultation and estimated timeframe for delivering the visual concepts. Budget: We are open to quotes based on your standard rates, but would appreciate a breakdown of costs where possible (e.g., initial consultation, visualisation work, revisions). Please include in your response: Examples of similar projects or portfolio links A brief outline of your approach and proposed process Quote for the above scope of work Availability for a quick introductory call or meeting We look forward to hearing from you and finding the right collaborator to help us bring our project to life visually.
