I need an illustrator for my childrens book

I need someone who is a competent illustrator, who can draw children and dogs well and understands how to lay out the book.The book is approximately 20 pages long and I would require someone to design the front and back cover, as well as the pages in between.It's important that I am comfortable with the image of the child and dog first before proceeding, so first stage would be that. If we are unable to get that right, then we wont be able to proceed.When putting forward the proposal please give me examples of work you have done which fits this brief.Look at the book - The Wonky Donkey by Craig Smith and you will understand the type of book and style i'm looking for (it doesn't need to be exactly the same)
