Backend Developer for Graph-Based Digital Knowledge Platform

The Project:
We are looking for a developer to create the foundations for a graph based knowledge platform. The platform will contain thousands of pages of information which all connect to each other creating a map allowing users to easily navigate between related pages.
The backend functionality will be similar to how Roam Research and Obsidian work. They both create notes which show as nodes in a graph, as well as the connections between them.We are creating a close-ended digital knowledge garden, meaning users can explore the information already in there but cannot add their own.
The scope of this project is to implement the first phase which involves building the backend of the platform to facilitate the features. This will be our own version of a Roam or Obsidian style platform. We will then look to add further functions at a later stage.
There are three main planned aspects to the platform:- Pages are where the information is stored using text and images.- Graph views show which pages are connected to each other.- A search bar allows users to find information and connections.
