Description:We are launching a professional B2B matchmaking platform under the Chinese Business and Social Network (CBSN). This platform will connect entrepreneurs, investors, service providers, and business owners in the UK–China business ecosystem.
We are seeking an experienced web developer or development team to build a scalable, secure, and mobile-friendly MVP, with room for full rollout
Phase 1 – MVP Requirements:custom build or WordPress—we are open to your recommendations.
Core Features on the front webpage - open to design recommendations: 1. Member Directory / Profiles sectionEach user registers/creates a profile with: • Business introduction • Areas of interest • Contact info • Social/media links • Also, allow advanced filtering and searching by location, industry, demographics, etc. 2. Group Forum • discussion threads - include option to allow admin to set which tier members can access the thread in phase 2 • Users can start and comment on topics 3. Internal Messaging System • Member-to-member direct messaging • Open to using third-party integration if more cost-effective 4. Admin Dashboard • User management • Basic content and payment control • Responsive Design (Mobile-first preferred)
The MVP development needs to allow the phase 2 Functionality (Plan for Phase 2): • Tiered user registration (Free / Premium / Investor) • Subscription and payment handling • Event listing and promotion tools • Newsletter and CRM integration (e.g., MailerLite or HubSpot) • Banner ad space or sponsored listings or testimonials
Ideal skills • Experience with B2B platforms, membership sites, or marketplaces • Strong UX/UI design skills • Familiarity with business networking tools or global networking norms • Ability to deliver an MVP first, with potential to expand into later stages • Clear communication and reliable project management
