Hello, We already have the existing plans drawn up on CAD of a large house which needs a front elevation re-model. Over the years its had extension upon extension and is now very messy with unbalanced positions and styles of windows etc which do not match. It needs a modest front elevation extension to accommodate a new central staircase and most likely new central front door. Also elements of the front need re-modelled or tweaked (hopefully it does not need a grandeous restyle (certainly not grey aluminum or white render) , just sensitive window position/style changes and sensitive extension. Photo attached. Although Designs could be on CAD they could also be hand drawn as we are just looking for the creative concept or concepts to get the best solution. Needs experience of detail as small details and balance of proportions can make or break a design. Fee is flexible, could be by hour, open to proposals. Maybe respond with an hourly rate and creative time thought.

SIPS Construction Structural Engineer

We seek a highly skilled structural engineer to provide critical design calculations for a structural insulated panel (SIPS) building project. The structural calculations will be used to ensure the building can withstand loading and stresses during construction and throughout its intended use. The engineer must have extensive experience designing the structural elements of SIPS buildings, with a strong understanding of the properties and performance of SIPS panels. The building envelope will feature load-bearing exterior wall and roof panels, so the engineer must be able calculate panel sizes, connections, foundations and any other structural components needed to construct a safe and code-compliant building. Accuracy is imperative as the construction team will rely on the completed calculations to safely erect the building framework. We require the calculations to be thoroughly documented and detailed and include all assumptions. The engineer should also review the project plans and be available to address any questions from our team. English is a must as our construction team only reads and speaks English. Experience designing light commercial or institutional SIPS buildings is preferred. Proficiency with structural engineering design software is necessary to efficiently generate the required documentation. We are looking to update it with a fully manageable site using Wordpress & WooCommerce with our own on-line shop. Here’s a breakdown of what we’d need help with: • Install WordPress and WooCommerce on a competitive hosting site Once the platform is decided, here’s what we’ll need done: • Install and configure the theme We’ll be using a pre-purchased theme (we’ll share the files). You’d set it up and make sure it matches the demo/look we’re after. • Create all required pages This includes the homepage, about page, contact page, shop categories, individual product pages, and any legal pages (T&Cs, privacy, etc.). • Add our branding We’ll provide a logo, colour palette, and fonts—we’d like the site to reflect our visual identity throughout.
