ISTA (www.ista.co.uk) is a UK-based arts education charity. We are excited to announce a transformative redesign of SCENE, our distinguished membership magazine that has been a cornerstone of the international theatre education community for over 20 years. As we evolve the magazine into a bi-annual publication focused on the global arts scene, we are looking for a creative and dynamic graphic designer to help reimagine and produce our magazine.
What We're Looking For:- Expertise in Canva: Proficiency in Canva is essential, as the design and layout of the magazine will be produced using this platform.- Experience in Magazine Production: We are seeking individuals with a strong background in magazine or commercial publication production. - Interest in the Performing Arts: A keen interest or experience in the field of the arts and/or the arts education sector would be beneficial, as each issue aims to reflect global issues and opportunities within this field.
Responsibilities:- Design and layout of a bi-annual magazine using Canva (publication April & November each year) - Collaboration with ISTA to ensure the magazine’s vision and educational goals are met.- Ability to work within tight deadlines to produce a high-quality, engaging publication.
