Senior DevOps/Full Stack Engineer

Answer Media, a Kansas City-based agency, is seeking a Senior DevOps/Full-Stack Engineer. Your primary role is to take on leading the development and handling requests of a website we manage for a bank here in the U.S. Our relationship with the bank and our collaboration extends back several years, so it is expected that it will take time to learn some of our processes and get comfortable. Our number one priority is site reliability as we do have an SLA with the bank. You will need to understand how we leverage Kubernetes and the services of AWS to make this happen. (i.e. maintaining 100% uptime during deployments) Additionally, agreements are in place on the timeliness of their requests to be handled. Within the past year, we've set up Jira Service Management and provided the bank with a service desk portal where they can create and manage requests. You will need to be familiar with Jira and preferably Jira Service Management. It is required that you are able to attend weekly calls with us and the bank. The is a long-term commitment and we are searching for the right candidate. We look forward to working with you! Required Skills/Qualifications * 2+ years Experience as a Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineer or similar role * 5+ years Experience with the following languages/runtimes: PHP, JavaScript, Node.js * 5+ years Experience with the following tools/systems/platforms: Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD * 5+ years Experience with MySQL * 3+ years Experience with Laravel * 3+ years Experience with AWS (EC2, Autoscaling, EKS, ECR, S3, etc.) * 2+ years Experience with October CMS * 2+ years Experience with Jira * 2+ years Experience with Figma Preferred Skills/Qualifications * 2+ years Experience with Terraform * 2+ years Experience with Jira Service Management
