Description

Project DescriptionI’m looking for an experienced Bubble developer (or no-code expert with frontend and JavaScript experience) to create a rapid prototype (MVP) of a web app that allows users to upload, view, annotate, and measure scaled PDF drawings.
This tool will be used to test and validate a concept within the construction and design industry. It does not require final polish—just a functional prototype that allows for early user testing.
Key Features Needed in the MVPUpload and display PDF drawings
Annotation tools: pen/freehand, arrows, highlighter, eraser, text, shapes
Add comment pins with threaded replies
Calibrate measurement scale: user selects two points and inputs real-world distance
Input drawing scale and measure off the PDF accurately
Save and/or export marked-up version of the drawing
Clean, simple UI with intuitive layout
DeliverablesWorking prototype built in Bubble (or similar no-code platform)
Basic responsive interface with functional measurement tool
Ability for users to test key features as described above
TimelineLooking for delivery within 3–5 weeks from project start
Ideal start: as soon as possible
BudgetPlease submit a proposal with your quote (fixed price or hourly) and your estimated delivery timeline. The minimum budget will be honoured and adjusted appropriately based on your experience and the complexity involved.
What I Can ProvideExample interface layout (mockups provided)
Sample PDFs for testing
Clear feedback and direction throughout the project

We’re currently experiencing: API call bottlenecks Inconsistent caching behavior Page hydration/render issues General slowness during build and runtime We’re looking for someone who can not only identify these issues, but: Diagnose root causes Explain what needs improvement Recommend smarter architectural patterns Ship a working fix or improvement prototype This is a standalone technical task with the potential to grow into a long-term development role if there’s a good fit. Requirements: Proven experience with hybrid stacks (e.g. Next.js + headless CMS) Strong debugging and performance optimization skills Ability to communicate trade-offs and technical decisions clearly Willingness to document findings and solutions Comfortable working independently and asynchronously How to Apply Please send a brief proposal describing how you’d approach analyzing and improving a stack like ours.
