SQL - Excel Macro

I have an excel with a Macro that links to SQL and does some calculations using 3 tables of data in SQL and then keeps the data in SQL in a new table. 1. this macro has stopped working due to "ADODB.Recordset" issue. 2. the macro produces monthly account balances from inception to now and I would like to adjust this to be based on a start date and not all of the history. then it opens all the associated SUB CATEGORIES. images attached "> Wherever the "Browse Categories" bar appears - as found at the TOP of this page for example : https://dinghymart.co.uk/class/ and here https://dinghymart.co.uk/class/search-ads-2/ When you click inside the Category box it expands showing ALL the SUB-CATEGORIES of the first PARENT CATEGORY (there are over 100 Sailing Dinghies). This is messy and prevents people seeing the other PARENT CATEGORIES like Sailing Yachts / MotorBoats etc. I don't like this structure / behaviour. I want it to work like the SELLING form : https://dinghymart.co.uk/class/sell-a-boat/ - starting with JUST the Parent CATEGORIES (nice and clean). Then the visitor clicks their preference > then it opens all the associated SUB CATEGORIES. images attached
