I have acquired the source code for an API and web app that is built on node.js and AWS (frontend) and typescript and GCP (backend). The original developer / former owner will be installing the code in a new instance along with some enhancements he's working on. I need a full stack or DevOps engineer to review the code and documentation for the new instance, and verify that it is complete and in working order.

Overview: We are running a Linux server with a Btrfs filesystem configured with multiple subvolumes and EFI-based boot. Recently, after a reboot, the server is failing to bring up network services—no network connectivity (no ping, no SSH access), and web services are not starting. Current Situation: - The server’s root and Btrfs subvolumes are intact and accessible when booting into rescue mode. - Disk integrity and subvolume structure have been verified and appear healthy. - Network services do not start on normal boot, preventing remote access. - We have initiated a KVM console session to monitor boot-time behavior and gather logs. What We Need: - An expert Linux system administrator with proven experience managing Btrfs-based servers and EFI boot environments. - Expertise diagnosing and resolving network initialization failures during system boot on such configurations. - Ability to analyze system boot logs, service statuses, and network configuration files (e.g., systemd-networkd, Netplan, NetworkManager). - Experience working with rescue environments, chrooting, and manual mounting of Btrfs subvolumes. - Capacity to develop, improve, and execute scripts for diagnostics and repair of complex boot and networking issues. I'm a school improvement partner and visit lots of different schools. During my visits, I take notes and then write up a record of visit afterwards that I send to the headteacher for a factual accuracy check. I sometimes also share the report with other professionals as required. I'm looking for the very cheapest price to create a web-based portal (something very simple) that allows me to complete a record of visit form after each visit which then turns into a nice professional looking record of visit on a branded template that can be printed or viewed as PDF or similar. The fields I would typically need are date of visit, school name, consultant name, headteacher name, context, activities undertaken, key findings (where I can detail in bullet points or prose), recommendations/next steps and next visit date. Ideally, I'd like the headteachers in each school to be able to be sent a link where they can see their record of visit online and suggest any factual inaccuracies that I can resolve and finalise. It would be handy if they could log in to see their different records of visit all in one place or follow an individual link where all their records of visit are housed in one place rather than being reliant on sending word attachments on email each time and the records of visits all being all over the place. Interested to find out how much this would cost. It doesn't need huge amounts of functionality other than what I've outlined above. I'd like to be able to access the portal on an iPad as well. Doesn't need to be a separate app but the ability for me to access record of visit form on an iPad during a visit so I can type my notes straight into it. Thanks, Shaun
