Moodle LMS Development Required

Description

Moodle LMS development required for fitness education and training company providing regulated industry qualifications.
The purpose of this work is to transition from a the current PDF-based workbook to a purpose-built Moodle LMS to streamline operations and reduce email exchange of student work.
Goals of the LMS are:
• Standardise delivery of all qualifications• Remove emailing of work between tutor and learner• Centralise all submissions that can be assigned to the relevant assessor• Allow management overview and report functionality• Ability to run, export and print reports for quality assurance purposes
Key requirements:
• Unlimited user access• Course, quiz and resource settings need to be the same for each course (perhaps have master settings)• Theme, colour scheme and logo to reflect organisations branding• Ability to download student work for quality assurance and compliance purposes• Track staff performance; including login time and duration• Provide an overview of learners on the course and what parts they have completed• Restrict learners’ access to course/content information not relevant to course they are enrolled on• Prevent learners being able to edit any part of the LMS• Ensure staff access permissions (other than manager) prevent editing of the LMS• Question number to turn green when graded correct, or red for incorrect• Correct questions on resubmission pre-populated and show answers that need remarking in red• Avoid needing to manually click on the “comments box” when marking learners work to add feedback/grade• Ability to assign other teachers a marking allocation of submissions received• Ability for managers to see current and past marking• Email alerts for teachers when a submission has been received• Email alerts for learners when their submission has been marked• Show learners their progress on the course as a percentage• Display courses to staff and learners as tiles on their dashboard/home page• Allow learner file submissions of all types (including word, PDF, Excel etc)• Learners to return to login screen once signed out
The list above covers most of the key functionality required, however, as this is a new platform for the organisation, there may be other minor additions as development progresses and new requirements are identified.
