This project involves designing an implement to automatically apply rubber sealing strips with self-adhesive backing to metal door frames. The seals come coiled in 50m boxes and need to be fed continuously into the tool. The device must remove the protective liner from the adhesive as the seal is inserted and firmly press it into position on the interior of the frame as the tool is moved by hand along each edge.
