I currently have two holiday homes in the UK. These are advertised on well known property rental websites. They do very well, but the fees paid to the rental websites is ridiculous! I would prefer to have my own site that I have full control over, with a calendar I can block bookings out with (prefer it supporting iCal so I can use/link it to the other sites).
Don't need to take bookings online, but enable the user to send a booking request (via a form) to me, and I can deal with them then direct to handle the booking and payment etc.
I have a reseller account with Fasthosts so would be hosting it there.
