LAUNCH is a world-class Branding Agency for established digital businesses and entrepreneurs. We are searching for a talented and experienced Brand Strategist to join our team. In this role, you'll have the chance to showcase your creativity and innovation as you collaborate closely with our clients, creative team, and senior management to craft captivating brand narratives that resonate with our target audience.
**Responsibilities & Outcomes**The Brand Strategist is a key contributor in shaping and executing effective brand strategies for our clients. Primary responsibilities will involve developing cohesive messaging, creating compelling brand stories, and translating strategies into visually appealing brand identities that excite our clients. Maintaining efficient workflow and moving projects forward is imperative to their success.
Brand Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive brand strategies that align with client objectives, core behaviors, market trends, and industry best practices.
Messaging and Storytelling: Create and refine brand messaging that effectively communicates the client's unique value proposition and resonates with the target audience.
Visual Identity: Collaborate and creatively direct with the design team to translate brand strategies into visually appealing brand identities, including logos, color schemes, and design elements to ensure congruence between the client’s desires, the brand strategy, and the design.
Competitor Analysis: Conduct research to analyze and understand competitors within the client's industry to identify opportunities and differentiators.
Client Collaboration: Work closely and respond quickly with clients to understand their goals, vision, and feedback, ensuring client satisfaction and alignment with project objectives.
Project Management: Oversee the projects from initiation to close, making sure the work gets done efficiently and satisfactorily, including graphic design, web dev, and other deliverables. Provide project status updates in CRM, including team and vendor deadlines.
Brand Guidelines: Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistent brand representation across all touchpoints.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to inform brand strategy decisions.
Process Optimization: Develop new initiatives, projects, systems, and processes as needed to push the company brand. Contribute to the optimization of systems and processes within the company. Refine internal workflows and identify areas for improvement to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Innovating, Creating, and Launching New Products and Services: Lead and participate in the ideation, development, and successful launch of new products and services that align with market demands and expand the company’s offerings, contributing to revenue growth and market differentiation.
**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities**The ability to think critically and strategically, aligning brand strategies with business goals and long-term objectives using knowledge of the client’s business, unique brand persona, messaging, design, offers, programs, services, design, and website.
A talent for generating innovative and creative ideas to differentiate brands and solve complex branding challenges.
High energy, charisma, confidence and competence in presenting brand strategies and ideas to clients, stakeholders, or team members.
Effective project management skills to ensure the timely execution of branding projects and campaigns.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
Proficiency in conducting thorough market research to identify trends, target audience preferences, and competitive landscapes.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships, understanding and addressing their needs effectively.
A genuine undying and unstoppable passion for branding and a desire to make a significant impact in the world to help small businesses turn into brands.
**Requirements**3-5 years of experience as a Brand Strategist or similar position.
2-3 yrs experience as a graphic/logo designer OR presenting graphic design work in client facing meetings.
1-3 years of writing experience that demonstrates competency in developing a brand story, messaging, and a compelling strategy.
Must be willing to follow proprietary internal processes for brand identity development and branding guidelines.
Available to work and communicate within normal business hours of 8a-5p for the Central Time Zone (CST).
Bonus -Marketing experience / knowledge is a major benefit for this position.
