A developer has part completed a project. It is in Github. We require it to be finished. The project is a detailed Carbon Emission calculator, including the ability to visualise results and generate and print reports. I am looking for developer/developers who are embracing AI to speed up coding. There are several areas in the application where I want AI to assist users, however, for now, we just want a functioning site. The AI integration will follow. We also require the site hosting the calculator to be built. I think the work is baout 80% done. Ideal candidate would be UK based. Here are the skills required as detailed by current developer: FYI, a developer/designer picking up the work will need experience in: • Python 3 (Django/Django REST framework, pandas, and Gunicorn) • JavaScript (Vue 3, Vuetify, Chart.js, Pinia) • HTML & CSS • Node Package Manager/NPM • Vite • Apache 2 • Linux for server management (Debian/Ubuntu) • Relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB) • OAuth • Graphic design/branding software (Adobe etc.) There are other minor packages besides (see NPM dependencies) but these take up less real estate. Due to SDK changes (Xcode 16, iOS SDK 18, and Android SDK 34), we need to: - Upgrade Flutter 3.7.12 to 3.32.x - Update all plugins (list provided) - Fix native build issues on iOS and Android Scope: Flutter: - Upgrade project to Flutter 3.32.x and latest Dart - Update 60+ dependencies to working versions (list provided) - Refactor deprecated APIs if needed iOS (Xcode 16, iOS SDK 18): - Fix Flutter/Flutter.h, modulemap, and use_frameworks! issues - Convert to xcframework format where required - Set minimum deployment to iOS 13 - Disable Bitcode - Ensure the app builds in Xcode 16 and uploads successfully to TestFlight, version 2.0 Android: - Set target SDK to 34 - Update Gradle and Kotlin versions - Ensure build works and signs properly for release Requirements: - Very senior Flutter developer with native Swift and Kotlin experience - Must be able to run and test builds for both platforms on macOS with Xcode 16 - Must know how to solve Flutter/Flutter.h issues, modulemap errors, Bitcode errors, and plugin incompatibilities - No juniors, no guesswork. Recently, after a reboot, the server is failing to bring up network services—no network connectivity (no ping, no SSH access), and web services are not starting. Current Situation: - The server’s root and Btrfs subvolumes are intact and accessible when booting into rescue mode. - Disk integrity and subvolume structure have been verified and appear healthy. - Network services do not start on normal boot, preventing remote access. - We have initiated a KVM console session to monitor boot-time behavior and gather logs. What We Need: - An expert Linux system administrator with proven experience managing Btrfs-based servers and EFI boot environments. - Expertise diagnosing and resolving network initialization failures during system boot on such configurations. - Ability to analyze system boot logs, service statuses, and network configuration files (e.g., systemd-networkd, Netplan, NetworkManager). - Experience working with rescue environments, chrooting, and manual mounting of Btrfs subvolumes. - Capacity to develop, improve, and execute scripts for diagnostics and repair of complex boot and networking issues.
