Brief
This brief is for the design and front-end build of some additional web page templates.
The work entails extending a flat HTML website template (link provided on request) for a non-profit radio station website. As it stands, the template does not include all the necessary layouts which a radio station needs.
Specifically, some additional page layouts are required:• Programme schedule as a week-to-view calendar style or by day, as currently but list style rather than cardso Also: Adaption of the Schedule block on the homepage
• Music chart/Hot 100 chart listing page
• Wide (full width) page optimised for text-heavy content, for example T&Cs, privacy policy.
• News headlines/Current Affairs/Weather section index and article pages
• Playlist page listing the top songs currently on the radio station’s playlist (this is not like a Spotify playlist which a user chooses)
• Artists A-Z page (also useful for A-Z of presenters/ A-Z of events
• There are some page transitions and pre-loaders which need to be removed from the existing template.
To assist with understanding the scope of each of these pages, there are example URLs from other websites. Please ask for the list.
The existing template bundle will be provided as a set of front-end files (HTML/JS/CSS plus images) – there are no master PSDs, Figmas or other design files.
Your task will be to design the additional pages and build out the new flat HTML templates using clean, well-written, well-tested markup. The design of the new templates will be expected to adopt a similar visual style so that they remain in keeping with the broader website design.
Some points to note• This is not a Wordpress project• This is a front-end project only – for design and the creation of HTML template files• You are not required to integrate the files into any CMS• The markup should adopt a similar style to the existing flat templates• You should not expect to make use of Wordpress plugins to render the front end. These are bootstrap templates so any JS libraries should be compatible.
It would be helpful if you are based in a location where English is widely spoken and ideally in a timezone close to GMT (eg. CET)
Further details are available on request. Would prefer to work on a fixed price basis but open to hourly basis too.
