This project seeks a systematic literature review (prisma) and meta-analysis investigating the potential reproductive effects of micro-pollutants on animals and humans. A comprehensive search of relevant literature databases will be conducted to identify all peer-reviewed studies exploring associations between particulate matter exposure and reproductive outcomes in human and animal subjects. Eligible studies will be assessed for quality using established methodological criteria, and relevant quantitative data will be extracted. If appropriate, a meta-analysis will be performed to synthesize findings and investigate dose-response relationships. A PRISMA compliant report will summarize search strategies, inclusion/exclusion criteria, results of quality assessments, data extractions, meta-analyses if performed, as well as limitations and directions for future research. The contractor should have proven experience conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Proficiency with statistical software to analyze datasets is required. The end result will be a thorough, rigorous examination of current understanding on how micro-pollutants may impact reproductive health.
