Interactive Experience Engineer (LED & Motion Controlled system)

Description

We are looking for an experienced engineer to support the development of an interactive installation that integrates reactive lighting and object movement to create a compelling multi-sensory experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing the technical aspects of an interactive environment where user presence and actions trigger lighting effects and physical movement within the installation.
Objective:Engineer an interactive system where LED lighting and objects respond dynamically to user interaction.Ensure a seamless integration of reactive lighting and motion to create a unified and engaging user experience.
Role Required:Interactive Experience Engineer: Specialising in the integration of reactive LED lighting and motion control within interactive installations.
Skills and Experience:Expertise in electrical engineering with a focus on LED lighting systems and motion control mechanisms.Strong experience in programming microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi) for sensor input and actuator output.Knowledge in creating interactive experiences that merge physical movement with digital lighting responses.Proficiency in designing and implementing robust systems that are safe and energy-efficient.A portfolio of projects demonstrating skills in interactive installations or environments with reactive lighting and motion.
Deliverables:Development and implementation plan for integrating reactive LED lighting and motion within the installation.Technical specifications and schematics for all hardware and software components.Functional prototypes and final system ready for public interaction.Documentation for system setup, operation, and maintenance.
Location:UK-based, preferably in London, to ensure smooth collaboration and ease of on-site work.
