We have a Wordpress website that connects to an iOS and Android app so that users can login on the app and view the data that is assigned to them. This has all been working fine until recently when we updated Wordpress to the latest version as well as PHP to 8. Now, when trying to access it we're getting a 401 error from the API. We have been using a modified version of this plugin: https://github.com/WP-API/Basic-Auth
Basically, the app sends basic auth via a custom "X-Login” header which our developer wrote to get around an issue with the basic auth plugin. We just need to extract the login from the "X-Login" header and log the user in for the duration of the request. So we need someone to help update the Basic Auth plugin to allow for this.

For the client (IP address: 39.60.124.38, host name: "39.60.124.38", port number: 56504), connection "CID-4992" has been created. SSL communication for connection "CID-4992" has been started. The encryption algorithm name is "TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384". Connection "CID-4992" terminated by the cause "A client which is non-SoftEther VPN software has connected to the port." (code 5). Connection "CID-4992" has been terminated. The connection with the client (IP address 39.60.124.38, Port number 56504) has been disconnected. ------- Basically, you need to convert the C files logic of softether client into swift files that will be implemented in iOS.

then it opens all the associated SUB CATEGORIES. images attached "> Wherever the "Browse Categories" bar appears - as found at the TOP of this page for example : https://dinghymart.co.uk/class/ and here https://dinghymart.co.uk/class/search-ads-2/ When you click inside the Category box it expands showing ALL the SUB-CATEGORIES of the first PARENT CATEGORY (there are over 100 Sailing Dinghies). This is messy and prevents people seeing the other PARENT CATEGORIES like Sailing Yachts / MotorBoats etc. I don't like this structure / behaviour. I want it to work like the SELLING form : https://dinghymart.co.uk/class/sell-a-boat/ - starting with JUST the Parent CATEGORIES (nice and clean). Then the visitor clicks their preference > then it opens all the associated SUB CATEGORIES. images attached
