Marketing Designer

As a top publisher and digital media company, AllGear Digital owns and operates top niche publications, primarily focused on the outdoors and active lifestyle space. You probably have visited some of our sites, including GearJunkie, Switchback Travel, The Inertia, Bikerumor, iRunFar, and ExplorersWeb.
AllGear Digital is seeking an experienced Designer to support its rapidly growing Sales and Marketing team. This is a contract position starting ASAP, with an expectation of 40 hours per week. We are open to remote work but you must be available to work during the general working hours of U.S. Central Time.

Duties and Responsibilities

 
Support Sales team in the creation of marketing materials
 
Create pitch decks, media kits and other sales support materials (including deck templates, mock-ups, and other visuals)
 
Create and maintain graphic standards for a portfolio of brands
 
Organize internal creative assets
 
Design custom landing pages and microsites
 
Design graphics for social media (IG Story templates, FB ad templates)
 
Creation of in-house digital advertisements
 
Other design/marketing tasks, as assigned
 
Other sales/marketing support tasks, as assigned



Requirements

 
Experience creating presentations and mock-ups
 
Solid understanding of digital production workflows
 
Design skills with proven portfolio of work (mix of traditional media as well as some UI)
 
Ability to collaborate closely with developers
 
Thorough understanding of design software applications and tools
 
Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing and brand communication
 
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
 
Experience creating digital display advertisements
 
Strong work ethic and eager to learn
 
Detail-oriented and organized, able and excited to keep up with a fast-paced media environment
 
Great communicator and team player
 
Associate degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred – preferably in visual communications, graphic design or equivalent with web design, multimedia design and/or programming coursework; portfolio school also applicable
