Job Description

Forbes Marketplace is looking for a full-time Sales Representative. The Sales Representative (SR) will be responsible for supporting the sales team in selling, planning and executing the digital advertising programs of Forbes Marketplace customer base.

The SR will serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and requests pertaining to their digital programs, which includes preparing proposals and client presentations and providing clients with pricing and inventory availability.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new leads
  • Monitor, respond to, and close incoming leads
  • Discuss initial client needs, prepare proposals, and presentations
  • Negotiate contracts and see through execution of all onboarding documentation
  • Work with account managers to create and implement targeted sales strategies
  • Remain current on products and processes in a multi-product environment.
  • Manage collection of creative assets, tracking and ad verification from clients /agency contacts and coordinate with Ops
  • Coordinate with internal teams all necessary elements for campaign execution
  • Work with internal teams on billing reconciliation
  • Help Sales upsell and renew business

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, social skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Proficient in computer software systems including MS Office and MS Excel
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage day to day tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to the team environment.
  • Dedicated to delivering a high level of professionalism and responsiveness.
