AHEAD is seeking a Product Owner to join our internal IT Business Solutions Team. This position contributes to the successful delivery of Salesforce solutions that enable AHEAD employees to provide exceptional service to clients.
The Salesforce Product Owner (PO) will have a deep knowledge of marketing, sales and sales operations processes, and have strong working experience with Salesforce Sales and Experience Cloud. The PO will be responsible for understanding current and new workflow requirements and developing strong working relationships inside and outside the IT Business Solutions team. Experience enabling business capabilities for technology resellers and/or professional service organizations is a plus.
Reporting AHEAD's VP, Business Solutions, the ideal PO is a professional, collaborative team player that is comfortable working with people at all levels of the organization. Applicants should possess exceptional analytical, communication, and customer service skills along with an advanced understanding of the Agile framework.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong working relationships with business stakeholders to understand top priorities for their business units; communicate status of critical work in progress; mitigate impediments
  • Support the business by applying cross functional subject matter expertise of business process, systems, and integration to facilitate continuous improvement and innovation
  • Write features and review user stories for proper definition and clarification, maintaining a defined sprint backlog of high value work at any given time
  • Assure quality by assisting the build team with validating acceptance criteria, acceptance tests and compliance with definition of done
  • Collaborate with the build team, assist with decision-making and identification of dependencies across the backlog
  • Provide constructive feedback in team meetings including standups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
  • Based on stakeholder input, develop sprint goals and drive preparation of the product backlog for sprint planning
  • Develop and maintain product roadmap for stakeholder communication
  • Develop incremental system demos for stakeholder review of new features released to the platform

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of years of implementation experience working with a major ERP system on quote-to-cash, professional services automation and/or revenue recognition workflows
  • 3+ years of consultative experience as a business analyst or product owner in an Agile team environment
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce as an admin, developer, or business analyst
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketo, CPQ, and/or CLM tools is a plus
  • Work experience at a technology reseller or professional services firm a plus
  • Detail-oriented and analytical with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSP-PO) certifications a plus
