Background & Overview
We are a Fintech/Mobility company doing good in the world by accelerating the adoption of EV's. Serial entrepreneur Sunil Paul co founded the company with a mission of a gigaton scale climate mitigation project. The company will unite the trillions of dollars of ESG capital with the immense interest in electric vehicles. EV adoption is accelerating and our company Spring Free has a great opportunity in front of us. 
The speed of adoption of Electric Vehicles (EVs) is critical to achieving deep decarbonization of the transport sector. Passenger vehicles emit 10% - 15% of total global greenhouse gas emissions and transportation is the leading source of carbon emissions in the United States. Even with all the government support around the world, not enough EVs are projected to be sold to get to net zero emissions and limit warming to 1.5 degrees C. Our goal is to achieve the adoption rate needed to get to net zero emissions and reduce emissions by about one gigaton by 2030.
 EVs are now at a tipping point where the total cost of ownership can be lower than gas or diesel-powered vehicles. Spring Free EV takes advantage of the additional value in an EV to lower the upfront cost for drivers. We do this by providing a two-sided marketplace matching EV driver interest with ESG Capital. The EV Auto Asset class we are creating is critical to decarbonizing the transportation sector and accelerating the adoption of EV’s. 
 Spring Free EV is empowering individuals to easily acquire EVs, we will deploy millions of cars and reduce 1 gigaton of CO2 emissions by 2030. We are building a unique platform that uses data to optimize the value of underwriting EVs. Proof of concept includes more than $10M deployed from some of Silicon Valley’s top investors (Reid Hoffman, Ev Williams, and Bronze Capital) and over 200 vehicles being deployed across 9 states.

 Roles & Responsibilities
Build meaningful 1.0 products - 
Spring Free EV seeks an experienced software engineer to be part of the founding software team.
You’ll build a broad range of products using cutting-edge technology. This will include advanced IoT analytics from vehicle data, blockchain technology to create a new asset class, and algorithms for scoring risk. 
Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code Make informed decisions quickly and take ownership of services and applications at scale Work collaboratively with others to achieve goals Be a persistent, creative problem ­solver
Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as a software engineer Experience working in an agile environment Experience building complex web systems that have been successfully delivered to customers Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlines Experience with mission critical, 24x7 systems Experience implementing and consuming large scale web services Experience developing software utilizing workflow or ESB software Experience with professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations Eagerness and willingness to learn new technologies
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and execute an engagement strategy to build active Spring Free’s Communities, including:
Oversee and drive online engagement of members across all key channels (FB groups, in -app, gatherings, external social channels and other key channels) Produce creative content that inspires engagement, conversation, and collective community action Develop and lead a regular cadence of community campaigns that drive member connection and education Track and report on community engagement initiatives, determining, capturing, and interpreting key analytics Work closely with the Content team and other internal stakeholders to gather key messages and inspire community conversations around them Build initiatives and programs that inspire, resource, and reward Community membres Collaborate with third party partners localization of content and engagement
Skills & Experience
Demonstrated success in online engagement, social media, and content strategy, ideally in a Community context Both innovative and resourceful - creative no matter the available resourcing Ability to build a long term vision and plan, but also to be spontaneous and scrappy Highly autonomous and self-driven Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills Bonus points for experience with Facebook Groups and/or managing distributed communities
