100% Remote Salesforce Architect
Erickson Immigration Group has a career opportunity for a talented Salesforce Architect to join our expanding team in our Headquarters office, located in Arlington, VA. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in software development and architecture, experience with the Salesforce platform, and a deep understanding of CRM and business processes. The candidate should have excellent communication and collaboration skills and be able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. This position can be fully remote with the ability to work on-site if desired.
Primary Responsibilities For This Role
We’re looking for a Developer with the advanced skills needed to customize an enterprise level system for a business immigration law firm.
This position drives highly visible Salesforce initiatives across the organization including designing applications on the Force.com platform and supporting integrations with Salesforce.
- Help manage the technical direction of our Case Management System, built on Salesforce, to support EIG’s enterprise level processes.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and develop functional and technical solutions on the Salesforce platform
- Designing and implementing custom objects, fields, formulas, workflows, processes, and other Salesforce components to support business processes and requirements
- Developing integrations between Salesforce and other systems, such as CRM, ERP, and other business applications
- Configuring and maintaining security, access controls, and data sharing rules on the Salesforce platform
- Developing and implementing data migration strategies to move data from legacy systems to Salesforce
- Monitoring and maintaining the performance, availability, and scalability of the Salesforce platform and applications
- Providing technical guidance and support to developers and IT teams to ensure that solutions are developed and implemented according to best practices and industry standards
- Staying up-to-date with Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices, and providing recommendations for improvements and enhancements to the Salesforce platform
- Manage an automated CI/CD process to move changes through environments to production
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required - Computer Science, MIS, or IT related field.
- Direct experience working on CRM projects for medium sized enterprise companies.
- 5+ years of experience with building solutions on Salesforce.com or Force.com platform.
- Experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development.
- 3+ years software engineering experience with Force.com Platform (Apex, VisualForce, SOQL, Unit Testing).
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools.
- Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.).
- A desire to work with the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies (Force.com Platform, Eclipse, MS Azure PaSS, VS Code).
- Experience building customer portals with Experience Portal
