Senior Account Executive - CIAM

Beyond Identity is currently looking for a Senior Account Executive to work in our Consumer Identity Access Management (CIAM) business. This is a growth-oriented role, i.e. the person we hire should expect to assume more responsibility over time and someday lead a sales team - and perhaps more! The individual will be responsible for identifying and closing CIAM opportunities, working at first with a close-knit cross-functional team, then becoming a central part of what will rapidly become a large go-to-market organization. This position requires experience delivering in a fast-paced and exciting growth-stage environment, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a proactive approach to keeping a finger on the pulse of our prospects, customers, and the market at-large. Prior CIAM experience at an identity access management company is a must. We're looking for people who understand the unique dynamics of the CIAM market and are eager to apply their experience at one of the world's most exciting and ambitious tech companies. This role is remote, with a preference for location in NYC, Texas, or Boston.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the first person on the ground for our CIAM Sales Team in North America; we have an EMEA CIAM Sales Presence and an excellent team of Sales Engineers in North America ready to go.
  • Become an in-house expert on our products - both business and technical use cases and stay up-to-date on product releases and new features.
  • Use your understanding of the products to quickly identify, qualify, and advance opportunities.
  • Build deep business relationships with our prospects and clients through exceptional service.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of overall sales experience, preferably with SaaS companies, and ideally at growth-stage companies
  • 2+ years of CIAM sales experience, with a demonstrated track record of excellence in that role
  • 5+ years selling developer-centric products
  • General experience in cyber security is favored
  • Extreme curiosity and a question-based approach to selling; we believe that asking the right questions can be even more important than providing the right answers
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with marketing, product and executive teams to dial-in go-to-market approaches that drive growth
  • Desire to build strong and dynamic working relationships with sales engineering and SDR teams; we're looking for someone who wants to not only win, but win as a team
  • Sound understanding of the challenges that developers face when building applications
  • High sense of urgency and a bias toward action
  • Desire to grow and assume responsibility
  • Strong analytical skills
