ABOUT THE ROLE
The LayerZero Ecosystem Fund is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Venture Capital Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and evaluating investment opportunities for the fund and work closely with our investment partners to conduct due diligence, perform financial analysis, and evaluate market trends. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background from a top school, as well as experience working at a top-tier venture firm.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

 
Conduct Preliminary Research & Screening on potential investment opportunities
 
Conduct industry in-depth research & due diligence and prepare reports
 
Map out industry-related value proposition and study vertical markets
 
Work with internal teams, present insights from industry data 
 
Source, assess, and track new investment opportunities
 
Send weekly newsletters for venture network updates
 
Evaluating market trends and identifying opportunities for new projects building on the LayerZero protocol
 
Collaborating with the investment partners to develop investment theses and strategies
 
Keeping abreast of industry developments and identifying potential risks and opportunities
 
Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the ecosystem

ABOUT YOU

 
Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university
 
1-2 years of experience working at a top-tier venture firm
 
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
 
Excellent communication and presentation skills
 
Passion for blockchain technology and the ecosystem
 
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
 
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment
