 The Senior Staff Engineer is responsible for leading our technical vision across complex and large-scale projects and ensuring the code delivered is accurate and of substantial quality. They also take on the role of tech lead for some of our most complex and challenging projects.

Act as engineering lead, providing the technical architecture, on at one or two projects concurrently
 
Lead estimations for all tickets in the backlog and participate in Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Review Meetings
 
Lead code reviews, mentor and give feedback to other developers working on projects


 

 Write Secure, Performant, Scalable Code
 

 



 
Develop custom WordPress plugins for use at enterprise scale
 
Create custom React-based Gutenberg Blocks
 
Utilize WordPress technologies like WP-CLI and the WP-REST-API
 
Use package management and build tools as part of CI/CD workflows
 
Implement WordPress, PHP, Javascript and CSS best practices across projects
 
Debug across a wide range of browsers and devices
