MySQL & AWS Redshift Expert DBA

Description

We are in need of a highly experienced database administrator to work on our BI team. The DBA must be experienced and proficient in the following technologies: - MySQL - AWS Redshift - AWS Data Pipelines - BI tools preferably Tableau The DBA will be responsible for accomplishing the following: - Maintaining health of AWS Data Pipelines between MySQL databases and AWS Redshift instance - Creating New/Modifying Existing Data Pipelines As Needed to Ensure Needed Data Exists in Data Warehouse - Create, Modify, & Maintain Redshift Materialized Views for Business Analytics - Develop Efficient MySQL & Redshift Queries As Needed by Development & BI teams - Other Tasks Incidental to Data Storage & Management - All candidates must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience working with the above technologies on the AWS platform. - Experience working with Tableau is a plus Our team is mostly remote and works primarily inside of slack. We have several internal companies that share tech resources, so you will not just be working on one set of data.
