PHP plugin for vBulletin fix

Description

We use a plugin named "[AJAX] Post Thank You Hack" (https://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=231666) on our vBulletin 4.2 forum board. This plugin shows a thread's hidden content when a 'Thanks' button is clicked. There is an option within the plugin to limit the number of 'Thanks' a user can use daily. We needed this option to be flexible to the usergroup so each usergroup would have different daily limits. Some years ago a developer from here did some work for us but didn't do it correctly. We disabled the feature but now we need to use it.
The issue is the daily limits do not reflect the number chosen in the adminCP. This is a problem as users purchase subscriptions to increase their daily limits - which are not working. We need this error to be fixed.
You will have FTP access to the files directory throughout the project.
