Moodle Plugin

Description

We are seeking a Moodle developer to create a custom plugin enabling comprehensive management of electronic book publication on our educational platform. Our goal is to facilitate author and collaborator participation in creating and reviewing high-quality academic content.
The plugin should encompass the following key features:
User Management: The plugin should allow users to register as authors, editors, or reviewers with varying levels of access and permissions within the system. A secure authentication system and user profile management capabilities will be required.
Participation Purchase: Develop a participation purchase module that automatically calculates the registration fee based on the number of chapters the user wishes to participate in. This module should integrate with secure payment gateways to process financial transactions reliably and securely.
Chapter Submission: Create an intuitive and user-friendly interface where authors can submit their chapters for review and potential inclusion in electronic books. The ability to attach files and provide relevant metadata for each chapter will be required.
Chapter Review and Acceptance: Implement an efficient workflow for the review and acceptance of chapters by editors and reviewers. This will include an initial phase of content analysis and a more detailed review phase, with the option to provide feedback and suggestions to authors.
Certificate Generation: Develop an automated system to generate participation certificates for authors whose chapters have been accepted and published in electronic books. These certificates should include detailed information about the author, chapter, and corresponding electronic book.
Integration of External Tools: Integrate payment tools to process participation purchase transactions securely and efficiently. Additionally, integration of plagiarism detection tools will be required to analyze submitted chapters and ensure the originality and quality of content.
These requirements aim to streamline the process of electronic book publication on our Moodle platform, enhancing collaboration and quality assurance among authors and reviewers.
