Creating a Geographic World Map Web-App "Cartographer"

Description

The project is to create a simple world map so that the user can attach any document type (word, pdf, etc) to any place. Clicking on the spot on the map would open the file addresses. User friendly, web application or stand alone software. An example from a website is attached below, where links to other websites is included whereas this project would be able to insert multiple document types. Filtering based on document types is made possible.
