Description

We are seeking a skilled full-stack developer (or team) to help us finalise and fix core functionality for EasyMove, our Man & Van booking app. The app is currently live on Replit but not fit for purpose, particularly around:
Accurate Quote Generation
Payment Integration
User Experience (UX/UI)
Codebase Reliability
Key Tasks:1. Fix Quote Generation Logic
Ensure quote pricing is accurate based on:
Pickup & Delivery distance (Google Maps API)
Type and quantity of items to move
Van size (Small, Medium, Luton)
Effort/time factors (e.g., stairs, floor level)
Return trip logic (30% reduction if same-day return)
Create a robust formula and UI breakdown for user and driver.
2. Finalise Payment System
Integrate Stripe and PayPal securely for customer checkout.
Handle full/partial payment logic and driver payouts (Stripe Connect if applicable).
Ensure VAT and platform fees (25%) are factored into pricing breakdown.
3. Improve UI/UX & Add Relevant Media
Add high-quality images (man loading van, different van types).
Apply consistent styling and modern design (branding guidelines provided).
Make responsive for mobile-first users.
4. Codebase Review & Optimisation
Audit and clean existing code (likely JS/Node/React).
Ensure logic is modular, secure, and scalable.
Suggest improvements or full rebuild if necessary.

Design references
Van type categories and pricing logic
Competitor references: Compare the Man & Van, AnyVan
Ideal Skills:Full Stack JavaScript (React, Node.js, Firebase or Express)
Experience with quote calculators or logistics-based apps
Stripe & PayPal API integration
Google Maps API (Geocoding + Distance Matrix)
Strong UI/UX eye and image asset integration
Git-based version control and documentation Deliverables:Fully functional quote engine
Payment system connected and tested
Responsive design with images
Deployed to web or staging environment (Replit, Vercel, or other)
