1. Hybrid RocketCalculate the recession rate of the HTPB propellant with a=0.1 and n=0.5. Oxidizer mass flow rate is 100 kg/s. Circular port radius is 10 cm. Compare propellant mass flow rate for port radii 10 cm and 15 cm. Port length is 1 m and density is 1000 kg/m3
Note: In the equation for recession rate both a and n are dimensional and numbers are based on experiment. Using oxidizer mass flow rate and radius in units provided will give proper unit for the recession rate.
