Web-Based 3D Model Viewer for Private and Client Use
Description:We are a design-focused company looking to develop a simple, web-based 3D model viewer that can display 3D models (initially Collada .dae files) directly in the browser. This tool will be used internally and for controlled client access — not a public platform.
We're looking for an experienced web developer or team who can help us build a lightweight, easy-to-use viewer with a clean, responsive UI and the ability to:
- Upload or drag/drop 3D models into the viewer, zip file with .dae file and related materials- Reupload function to allow reupload of a new zip file to overwrite existing model but keep the same 3D sharing link.- View models with basic controls (orbit, zoom, pan)- If possible to add a section plane view option- Maintain consistent material and lighting appearance- Secure model access (basic authentication or private links)- Potential future support for other formats
We’d like the system to be self-hosted or deployed to a private cloud account, and scalable for future enhancements (project folders, annotations, client portals). Looking for advice on where to host/store to allow for large file sizes to be kept, as models would be kept live for 6-9 months.

Our head office uses Freshdesk to manage and respond to internal support requests. We’re seeking an experienced freelancer to configure a Freshdesk integration that connects all four shop channels to our single Freshdesk account, ensuring that tickets are routed and managed efficiently.
