Playdate — A clean and easy way to track upcoming video game releases

“ In 2012 I created a website in a weekend that let users see when video games were coming up on different platforms per month. It was the first side project I had ever released and by the end of the first week the site had received 47000 views and had 22000 users. Over time I build an iOS application (as a web developer!) to varying levels of success. Now, having taught myself Swift, I decided to build the app (and the backend!) from scratch in a more robust, beautiful and delightful way. With Playdate you can filter by your favourite video game plaforms, filter by the region of your choice, decide when you want to be alerted (on the day, the day before or a week before) about release dates of your favourite titles and even link to trailers and information about the game. More features will be coming soon but for now I'm so excited to share a brand new version of one of my favourite projects to work on! I hope you love it and it's as useful to you as it is to me!
