I require the expertise of a talented network security professional to configure Border Gateway Protocol routing on a Fortinet FortiGate-200 firewall. My organization recently established connectivity with a new internet service provider who requires BGP to exchange routing information. As the in-house team lacks experience implementing BGP peering, I seek the counsel of a skilled freelancer well-versed in Fortinet devices to advise on designing and deploying this configuration. The selected candidate will be expected to furnish configuration specifications for establishing an eBGP session between the Fortigate and our edge router. Factors like authenticated neighbors, AS numbers, route filtering, prefix limits and inbound/outbound route maps must be addressed. Once the firewall is provisioned, remote guidance will be provided on fine-tuning the BGP settings, monitoring session status and route advertisements.
