Data Warehouse Engineer & Architect

Description

We are a Conversational AI platform that ingests raw conversations between companies and their customers and enriches them to help our customers better understand what's going on in these conversations and to help them find actionable insights. Our business is rapidly growing and so are our databases and, in the short-term, we need help tuning what we have but also need help building a plan that will allow us to scale into the future with 10s of millions of conversations (100s of billions of utterances). We're knowledgeable but not DBAs and could use expert guidance for the short-term and, if things work out, for the long-haul as well.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and hands-on experience in data warehouse design and implementation, with expertise in technologies such as Postgres, Azure CosmosDB, Citus, Snowflake, DataBricks, Redshift, and Aurora. The successful candidate will be responsible for database performance optimization, both for OLTP and OLAP workloads. The role requires a solid understanding of data engineering principles and the ability to design and architect scalable and efficient data warehouse solutions.
