I need 6x blog briefs to be put together for clients in various industries. The process is very much a copy/paste task with a tiny bit of rewriting / tidying up involved. This particular project is for 6 briefs, but there will be much more - meaning there is an opportunity for repeat work on an ongoing basis if the quality of the briefs is up to scratch. Here is the process for the blog briefs: - Do research based on a blog title: You will need to carry out a google search of the blog title and open the top ranking sites. - Skim/read all the results and copy / paste the main points covered by the top ranking pages: To do this, simply copy and paste H2s/H3s etc and paragraphs from the articles, choosing the ones that you think are best for the brief. Make sure you copy content from a variety of sources. - Turn the paragraph content into more digestible bullet points: Simply break down the sentences by adding bullet points. This will make the brief easier to read. If any expert names / other company / other products are mentioned, make sure to remove these. - Arrange the content into a brief that flows: start off with an introduction section and then move onto the main points covered by the top ranking pages, in a way that is easy to read and makes sense. Make sure to add [H1] [H2] [H3] in front of each heading so that the client easily sees how the content is structured. - Rewrite the headings: Each H2 / H3 and subheadings should be unique and not directly copied from the sources (where possible). This is because, as opposed to the paragraph content, these will be used to create the titles in the actual blog post. - Add a few internal links to some of the client's products: for most briefs, you will find that several products can be linked. Check the client's website to find suitable products and then add these into the brief where suitable. If these can't be added naturally within the text, just add a CTA at the end of the brief. - Link to studies (if applicable): If there are any studies / research journals mentioned, make sure these are linked too. - Add and highlight the following sentence after each section: "Please write in your own words based on the bullet points, your own research, company perspective and tone of voice" - Check the word count: Make sure the word count is around 1000-1500 words. And that's it! Once you've done one you'll see that the process is very straightforward. I've attached a couple of sample brief so you can see what these should look like when finished. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to let me know.
